Built to perform in just about anything—from weak, mushy waves to solid overhead walls. This is an all-rounder you can rely on when conditions are unpredictable but you still want to rip.

The bottom runs flat through the nose and midsection, transitioning into a pronounced double concave and finishing with vee behind the fins. This creates a fast, responsive board that still holds steady when you push it. The rails sit mid to low, and most surfers ride the Ego at least 1/8" thicker than their standard shortboard for added flow and paddle power.

It pairs best with an MR-style or custom Power Twin template—something between a keel and an upright—to strike the perfect balance of drive, hold, and control.
