Very nice book, reader friendly, by this I mean non technical explanations on how surf boards work in their various styles. The author should congratulate himself as to explain these nuances is no easy task! Above all I found the text to be vey inspirational for me to get back in the shaping bay and make myself a board again with lots of colours!
What a great book for the journey surfer where the real facts about board design and performance attributes provide a guideline for personal board selection. Written in a passionate and personal manner to take the reader on a unique journey of a lifetime.
A stunning publication. This book is an amazing collective of stories and imagery that beautifully articulates the craft of surfboard building. The quality of the imagery, down to the quality of the paper used in the book, makes it hard to put down.
