This is Board No. 2 in the Art Series 2025—a unique collaboration between shaper Sergio Gomez and artist Jessi Rebel, a proud Wiradjuri woman, surfer, and emerging arts therapist based on Wadawurrung Country.
Titled Andu Yiray Wuurrangganhi – When the Sun Was Setting, this piece carries story, colour, and motion. Painted directly onto the foam using vibrant acrylics, Jessi’s work draws from her deep connection to Country, Sea, and community. Her flowing lines reflect her lived experiences and the beauty of the natural world, inspired by her roots on Biripi Country and her life on Victoria’s Surf Coast.
Shaped as a true mid-length, the board is designed for glide and flow—offering easy-smooth paddle power, idealy for  waist to head-high surf. A rideable canvas that balances form, function, and meaning.
Board No. 2 is more than a surfboard.
